Intuitive & Emotionally Intelligent Experiences
Rooted in human connection. Driven by curiosity. Based in Minneapolis.
I spent over a decade in the restaurant industry — a people-first, fast-moving world that taught me how to read between the lines, solve problems under pressure, and understand the unspoken needs of others. That work shaped the way I approach UX: with empathy, curiosity, and a relentless focus on human behavior.
In 2024, I completed a full-time UX/UI design and research program at Prime Digital Academy, where I led end-to-end design projects that centered around accessibility, recovery support, and social connection. Prior to that, I also completed a full-stack software engineering bootcamp, which gave me a foundational understanding of how things are built — and how to communicate with developers.
My path to UX wasn’t linear, but every step — from managing high-stress service shifts to conducting usability interviews — has helped me build meaningful, user-centered experiences that are both intuitive and emotionally intelligent.
Now, I design digital experiences that prioritize emotional clarity, accessibility, and trust. I'm especially passionate about building tools that support recovery, identity, and connection.
Snapshot
A Lifelong Explorer of Human Behavior
I’ve always been fascinated by what drives people — what they notice, what they avoid, what they say without saying it. Whether I was managing a packed dining room, backpacking solo through Southeast Asia, or asking users why they ghosted an onboarding flow, I’ve been watching, listening, and piecing together the puzzle.
I believe good design starts with curiosity. And a little humility. I don't assume I know what people want — I ask, I test, I adjust.
Human behavior is rarely straightforward. That’s what makes it worth studying — and what makes UX such a powerful place to shape how people move through the world.
